Welcome to Islamic Finance in Practice
Welcome to the Islamic Finance in Practice website and to the Islamic Finance in Practice series of books and materials. And thank you for taking the time and effort to explore this website.
The Islamic Finance in Practice website (the "IFIP Website") is intended to be organic and evolutionary. The IFIP Website, and the books and materials referenced in the IFIP Website, will change over time.
In its initial stages, this IFIP Website will provide information regarding the various books in the Islamic Finance in Practice series of books and related materials. These books and materials address various topics of interest to transactional participants in the Islamic finance, investment and banking industries. The conception, approach, structure and scope of the series of books is discussed in the Introduction to the Islamic Finance in Practice Series of Books and the various books in the series are addressed at IBIF Books; Other Publications.
The IFIP Website will develop and expand as new books and materials are developed and released. That process will continue even after all the books in the Islamic Finance in Practice series have been released. We anticipate releasing slides and learning materials that supplement the books. We plan to expand the capabilities of the IFIP Website as a reference tool as new books, articles and materials are added to the Selected Bibliography. This development and expansion will be incremental, and we ask for your patience and your assistance in effecting this process.
We hope that you find the Islamic Finance in Practice website useful and enjoyable.
